Shoji Hano, a free jazz drummer, and Peter Brotzmann (leading European free improviser) first met in Japan in early eighties. Hano visited Europe in 1990 and met Brotzmann. In fall 1991, he invited Brotzmann back to Japan to perform a duo tour. This album contains the entire recording of their concert at Aku Aku, Tsukuba. Hano issued a cassette tape with the same title on his label EGG in 1992, but it did not include one of the pieces from the concert. This CD release includes track four, which restores the omitted number. It contains five pieces.
