George Grosman

Prague is the city of one hundred spires. He has lived and played music in three continents: the U.S., Canada and Iceland. The University of Essex (M.A.) and the Guildhall School of Music (classical guitar, composition) were two of his educational institutions. George studied Literature and Linguistics at the University of Essex (M.A.) and the Guildhall School of Music in London (classical guitar and composition). He has been performing solo and with various bands in Toronto for the past two decades. Recently, he moved to Orlando and is active in the Central Florida music scene. George is a popular jazz guitarist and singer. He focuses on the Classic American Songbook as well as gypsy and other “ethnically-flavored” jazz. While he is a frequent solo artist, he also leads a jazz trio that includes guitar, upright bass, and drums. Bohemian Swing is a band that mixes elements of swing, jazz, gypsy and klezmer music. He often performs in Toronto with them. George is also a prolific songwriter, producer and can be found on the store page with his original CDs.
