Greg Cohen, a native Los Angeles bass player, has been playing in acclaimed music groups since at least the 1960s. Cohen is a solid player who can play with any musician, including Bill Frisell and John Zorn. Cohen’s musical experience extends far beyond the genres he plays in. He has played with Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson and is a regular on Tom Waits albums Heartattack and Vine since 1980. Cohen composed music for the Lincoln Center Theater and has collaborated on film score arrangements such as Ed Wood or Fried Green Tomatoes. From www.discogs.com
