Greta Aagre (vocals) and Erik Honore took to the international stage in 2012 with Year of the Bullet, an album of multilayered writing and gentle lyricism. Now, they are releasing their second album, Tuesday Gods, on Jazzland. Greta Aagre (vocals). Aagre is a singer who has contributed to many albums. She also plays in bands and cabarets. Aagre has been working in music therapy in Oslo since she moved there to study at the Music Academy. She focuses on therapeutic improvisation. Aagre’s singing focus has been on the lyrics of songs and the development of her vocal range. Reviewers have described Aagre’s voice as “warm and soft-spoken”, fragile but sometimes capable of greater power. She has recorded 4 albums with Honore and performed at prestigious venues such as the National Jazz Scene and the Punkt Festival. Erik Honore (electronics, live sampling, synthesizers, percussion): As a producer/musician/arranger/remixer, Erik has worked with luminaries like Arve Henriksen, Eivind Aarset, Sidsel Endresen, Jon Hassell and others. David Sylvian has been a long-standing collaborator on many recordings. He has also released solo albums on Hubro’s Heliographsin 2014, Unrest in 2017, and Heliographsin 2014. Erik has performed live with many musicians, including Christian Fennesz and Jon Hassell. As a trio, Erik Honore and Jan Bang as well as Sidsel Endesen have toured Europe.
