Grupo Caribe, a Mambo Salsa Dance Band from New York City, is known for its swinging music. They perform traditional Salsa music that is reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s. The band has been well received by audiences across Europe and the USA. All of the members are veteran musicians who have performed with some of the most respected Latin bands, including Machito, Machito and Larry Harlow. Mongo Santamaria and Willie Colon were also part the band.
