Hasidic New Wave

Hasidic New Wave, an American experimental klezmer band, is known. The group was made up of improvisational jazz musicians who were all from Manhattan. It was formed to fuse Hasidic musical styles, such as freylekhs, horas, and jazz with elements of jazz, jazz, funk and avant-garde music. Its unique style has been compared with Jimi Hendrix and Sun Ra.
