Since his 2015 move to New York, Henry Conerway iii has been a prominent presence on the modern jazz scene. This is evident in his continued work with global artists such as Freddy Cole, Marcus Printup, the Jazz at Lincoln Center trumpeter; Jazzmeia Horn, 2015 TheloniousMonk International Jazz Vocal Contest Winner; Russell Gunn, a Grammy nominee; and many residencies at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Doha, Qatar. Some of his notable performances include the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Jacksonville Jazz Festival, Savannah Jazz Festival, National Black Arts Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The United Trombone Summit (Indiana University), featuring Slide Hampton and Curtis Fuller, Bill Watrous, and the Birmingham Jazz Festival.
