Big Dinosaur Mouth, the debut album by Hugh Gledhill, a London-based soul and funk guitarist (The Jezebel Sextet and The James Taylor Quartet), is out now on Sookie Records. It features Hugh Gledhill on guitar and Seamus Beaghen, (Trio Valore), who plays Hammond. Mudibu, a Burundian singer/songwriter, sings on vocals. The Killer Horns (Alice Russell) are also featured on vocals). Nine songs combine Memphis soul, boogaloo, Hammond, and horns. All nine tracks were recorded with exceptional sound quality on analogue tape. Mudibu sings on four tracks, including “Under Our Eyes” and “Time, Strength …; Patitience”, two songs that were inspired by Steve Cropper, Booker T.
