Passionate, fiery, tormented. Hussam Aliwat’s relationship with his Oud has been this since childhood. Today’s album, “BORN NOW”, was released by Gaya Music Production /The Other Distribution. It is the first album to feature emotional, cinematic, and dense music. The music mixes oriental heritage, dreamlike improvisations and polyrhythms with intense rock and jazz modulations. Aliwat is surrounded by Raphael Jouan and Sarah Khalife, two cellists. A drummer is Nicolas Goussot. This allows us to transcend human boundaries and the borders between musical genres. He is self-taught and gifted. He breaks the codes of his instruments, such as the bandoneon of Piazzolla or the guitar of Jimi Hendrix. After playing on several stages at French festivals and filling the Sunset twice, HUSSAM ALIWAT recorded his first album. He will present it on November 29th at Cafe de la Danse. This show will be a thrilling one for fans of alternative rock, jazz, and lovers of the Oud. From www.hussamaliwat.com
