Ingrid Jensen, one of the most gifted hard bop trumpeters her generation, was born in Vancouver (British Columbia) in 1967. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music, Boston, Ingrid Jensen toured Europe with Vienna Art Orchestra’s production Fe and Males. She returned to the USA in order to teach jazz trumpet and become the youngest professor at Austria’s Bruckner Conservatory at the age of 25. Jensen also traveled with Lionel Hampton
