Isaac Darche is originally from San Anselmo in California and has been living in Brooklyn, NY, since 2006. He studied with Kenny Burrell (and Anthony Wilson) while at UCLA, where he earned his degree in jazz performance. Many distinctions have been awarded to him, including a Gluck Fellowship in the Performing Arts, Kennedy Center’s Jazz Ahead program, and an invitation for audition for Thelonious Monk Institute (the only invited guitarist). He has been fortunate to have the chance to perform with some of the greatest musicians since 2006. He is currently the leader of the Tuesday night jam session at The Morgan in Bushwick.
