Born in Zagreb, 1970. He graduated from high school Lisinski in Zagreb in the Department of jazz and popular music. He has been actively involved in electronic and jazz music since the nineties. He has been a member of numerous jazz groups (Ten Directions and Mirokado Orchestra Quartet Groovie), as well as the Mediterranean Trio . Author is the leader of the trio that recorded two albums together, “Lancun”, and “Bava”, in 2001. The latter was nominated to the croatian discography award “Porin” as the best jazz album. He is also the founder of multimedia group Trianguli Zona, which has made appearances at many festivals around the world. Ivan is the leader of space jazz band Capisconne Electro Unity since 2009. The band has published three editions on various Netlabels (Dubmission and Breathe Compilations). He also coauthored the experimental project “Loop Chamber Music” alongside DJ Labosh. Ivan’s compositions have been performed by Big Band HRT, Ratko Vojtek, Varazdin Chamber Orchestra, and multiinstrumentalist Ratko Vojitek.
