James is a Queensland Conservatorium graduate with a Bachelor in Music and Masters in Music Studies. He works and tours across Australia and the USA as an educator, musician, musical director, and orchestra musician. James was a participant in the 2013 New York University Broadway pit drumming seminar. He also recorded two albums, BURBANK (2011), and HARD MINE (2015). James has worked as a musician and/or band leader for many highly-acclaimed international artists, including Faith Prince, Marina Prior and Geoffrey Keezer.
