Jan Harbeck was born 1975 in Aarhus, Denmark. In 1998, he graduated from The Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg with a Masters degree in saxophone, and the New School/Mannes College of Music in New York in 1999. His first album, “In the Still of the Night”, was awarded the Danish Music Award for Jazz Album of the year’.
