Jason Ajemian, an acoustic bassist, is part of Chicago’s underground music scene. He plays a variety creative improvised, noisy, and experimental musics that are rooted in jazz and rock. He graduated from the William Patterson College in New Jersey where he studied bassist Rufus Reid as well as percussionist Kevin Norton. Ajemian arrived in Chicago in 2000 and immediately embraced the progressive music scene. Ajemian can also sing and use electronics.
