Jason Harnell, a jazz drummer, educator and composer, is well-known for his unmistakable style and passion. He has been a key contributor to the Southern California Jazz scene for more than twenty-five years. Jason is a product of a musical family. He was literally born with drum sticks in both his hands. At six years old, Louie Bellson, a close friend and legend drummer, gave Jason his first drum set. Jason is a creative musician and can swing whether he’s playing straight ahead jazz or exploring the unknown. He has recorded, performed and toured with some of the most renowned jazz musicians in the world, including Larry Goldings (Bob Sheppard), Dave Douglas, Anthony Wilson. Steve Cardenas. Theo Bleckmen.
