In the past 15 years, Jeff Jenkins has released four albums. “Cique”, the most recent Capri Records release, is an exciting mix of jazz and funk. In that time, he has also performed with many jazz legends such as: Freddie Hubbard and Clark Terry, Eddie Harris, Clark Terry. Marlena Shaw and David Fathead Newman. Teddy Edwards, The Count Basie Orchestra, The New York Voices. Bobby Hutcherson. Nelson Rangell. Renee Marie. John Abercrombie. Richie Cole. He was a student at the University of North Texas where he was a leader of his own groups. He moved to New York after college, where he studied with Kenny Barron and Richie Beirach. While working in Broadway and the clubs, he also worked as a musician. Jeff mixes and produces in Mile High Music’s recording studio when he is not playing the piano. He currently resides in Denver and is involved in writing, producing and performing at clubs and concerts. From www.colorado.edu
