Jeff studied at the Eastman School of Music, B.M. ’07. He studied classical saxophone and jazz saxophone under Walt Weiskopf. After earning his degree, Jeff was a full-time production assistant and stage manager at New York’s Manhattan School of Music. He returned to academia and received his master of music in jazz performance (M.M.) at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. He studied jazz saxophone and jazz piano while in Miami with Gary Keller. Jeff also studied with Russell Ferrante (Yellowjackets), Jason Goldman, and Whit Sidner.
