Jeremy Davenport

Jeremy Davenport, a New Orleans musician and songwriter, has been a key part of the New Orleans music scene for nearly a decade. Jeremy’s original lyrics and music give the show a contemporary edge. He also creates a unique atmosphere that evokes a time when Jazz was in its prime. His vocal and trumpet playing abilities are well-known, as well his ability to entertain. Davenport’s show has attracted such entertainers as Sting and Paul McCartney, Harry Connick Jr., and Diana Krall. Jeremy Davenport was the son of a musician family. He was born in St. Louis. His mother was a music educator for almost 50 years. His father retired from the St. Louis Symphony after 40 years. Jeremy played and studied with guests and members of the St. Louis Symphony from a young age. This included an early introduction into Jazz, Wynton Marsalis. Jeremy played six years with Harry Connick, Jr.’s Big Band, touring the globe.
