Jessica Pilnas sang right from the beginning. Her father was the pianist in Sweden’s longest-running pop-bands, “Sven-Ingvars”. It was no surprise that she had a remarkable vocal talent. At the tender age of 16, she was third in the Swedish qualifying round of the Eurovision Song Contest 1995. This was Sweden’s most viewed tv-show. Jessica was offered an album deal, but she declined. She didn’t like this kind of pop and decided to go to school at the jazz-school Freidhem, which has produced many young musicians in Sweden. She was 20 when she joined “Robyn”, an internationally recognized Swedish Ru0026B band.
