JO FABRO, a dynamic and powerful singer, received training as a jazz singer through the University of NSW’s Bachelor of Music. Jo studied with many prominent vocalists and musicians, including Joy Yates and Pat Powell. She also attended workshops by Kurt Elling and Nikki Crayson. She was a finalist in the Wangaratta Jazz Festival Vocalists of the Year Competition 2005. Jo is a regular performer in Sydney’s jazz and soul scene. She has also performed at the Tauranga Jazz Festival and in New Zealand at Tokyo Japan.
