He was born in 1982 and began his musical education in Aveiro (Portugal). He moved to Barcelona in 2003 to attend Taller de Musics. There he studied harmony and musical language. He continued his studies at the Superior Conservatory of the Liceu, Barcelona in 2009, where he took classes with Ramon Prats and Marc Miralta. He finished his degree in 2013. He has performed at many festivals and clubs since his arrival in Barcelona, including the Jazz Festival of Vic, Jazz Cava de Terrassa, and the Barcelona International Jazz Festival. He has recorded, played and collaborated with Jazz Trio Mosaic and Minkowski Group, Ari Ann Wire and Atom Quartet. He currently plays in several bands that include modern Jazz and classic Swing. His debut record, “Hypnotic”, is his first as a leader or composer. http://tempsrecord.cat
