John Allee

John Allee is an actor and musician with many talents. He can be seen on screen as Pasha in Starz’s limited series “Flesh and Bone”, which was nominated for a Golden Globe. The executive producer Moira Waltley-Beckett has also been nominated for this role. John Allee’s theatre career has taken him from Off-Broadway and Pre-Broadway, to Europe, the Soviet Union, and the West Coast. He can be seen in the recurring role of Pasha on Starz’s limited series “Flesh and Bone” by Moira Walley-Beckett, which was nominated for a Golden Globe. John is an award-winning author and composer of musical plays. He was the first to perform Kin Platt’s The Boy Who Can Make Himself Disappear and Poet’s Garden at The Matrix Theatre. The latter won the Backstage West Garland Award as Best Musical Score. John is a past recipient of the ASCAP/Sammy Cahn award for excellence in lyrics writing (past winners were John Mayer and Josh Ritter) and his music has been featured Off-Broadway as well as in regional theatres and on television. He is a member the vocal group Three Short Guys and has performed at some of L.A.’s most prestigious venues. He recorded his debut CD, Unless It Isn’t, under the nom de-pop Johnnye Allee.
