Simulacrum, the most extreme organ trio, is another new direction by Downtown Alchemist John Zorn. He continues to explore new realms and new ensembles in his sixth decade. This genre-bending music is dramatic through-composed pieces, which unfold with a cinematic logic. It touches upon metal, jazz minimalism, atonality and noise, as well as other Tzadik musical styles.
