Young Justin Stanton was a brilliant trumpet player for Elizabethton, Tennessee. The town is proud to have a two-time Grammy Award-winning son. Justin graduated from Eastern Tennessee State University and went on to North Texas for a second degree. There he met his future bandmates, Snarky Poppy. He remains an integral part of the trumpet trio that drives Snarky’s sound. He is not only a great trumpet player, but he is also a talented keyboardist and a major contributor to Snarky’s recorded material. He is never without his mini keyboard and laptop. He loves to compose, record, practice, and expand the musical horizons of his band and himself.
