Kartet is a modern band with an advanced ensemble sound. This aesthetic has been developed since their inception in 1990. Once heard, Kartet leaves a lasting impression on the aural centers with their distinctive sound signature. They will instantly be recognized if they are heard again. Their compositions are made easy by Kartet’s delicate agility. Their music is space-time and time-dimensionally warped but the structures are not jarring or radical. They seduce their listeners into believing that paranormal music is normal, and normal music is boring. Kartet has a characteristic that Andalusians refer to as duende. It is a combination of passion, creativity, risk, and indefinable passion. Their uniqueness is so strong that Kartet’s music doesn’t remind anyone else of Kartet.
