Kathleen Grace

Grace is a mix of indie, folk, country and jazz. She has a timeless, instantaneous style. Grace, a Tucson, AZ native, fell in love with jazz when she moved to the Bay Area under the guidance of Molly Holm (Bobby McFerrin’s Voicestra). Grace’s career was transformed by her three critically acclaimed indie albums (“Mirror”) and encounters with Leonard Cohen’s song “Suzanne” as well as Nancy Wilson, who were both vocalists. Grace went from being a straightforward jazz singer to becoming a cross-over composer, who listens to the heart of every song she writes. Grace found a common ground in Dolly Parton’s music, Kitty Wells, and John Prine. http://www.axs.com/
