Navarro’s 2010 album, “Dreaming of Trains”, was pre-nominated in two categories for the 2011 Grammy Awards. His 2014 album, “Ruby Lane,” spent four months in the Top 10 on contemporary/smooth radio, iTunes, and Amazon. His impressive discography, which includes 23 top-charting albums, shows his appeal to a broad range of listeners. He is known for inspiring compositions and great guitar performances. Bonfire, Navarro’s 23rd album was released on September 16, 2016. There are thirteen (13) new compositions featuring Ken’s amazing acoustic guitar and electric work. This 13-song tour de force includes Ken performing and composing on every instrument, including acoutic, electric, and bass guitars. Unbreakable Heart, Navarro’s 22nd album was released in August 2015. It featured the #1 Smooth Jazz Radio Hit “Juliet”, which Ken composed for his first grand-daughter, “One Night In Mumbai”, and “Frenchmen Street”, which Ken composed after spending time in New Orleans. The stunning title track was also included. Ken also dedicated a song called “Robin Fly Away” to Robin Williams. “Ruby Lane” was Ken’s first album as an ensemble in four years. The album featured the hit title track “Ruby Lane”, which remained in the Top 5 of all the country’s smooth jazz radio charts. It also topped the jazz charts at Amazon.com and iTunes for several months. Positive Music Records released Ken’s The Test Of Time in 2012. This album was a major milestone in Ken’s musical career. Solo Guitar is like nothing you’ve ever seen. Navarro gives a flawless performance on each of The Test of Time’s 12 songs. All the melody, bass lines and harmonies are played simultaneously on one guitar, without any overdubbing. The Police’s Message In A Bottle and John Lennon’s Imagine are just a few of the modern classics that are included. Ken’s 19th CD, Dreaming of Trains, was released March 16, 2010. Two Grammy pre-nominations were given to it for 2011.
