Kenny Gill, the pianist, was a mysterious figure in free/spiritual music. His 1970 Warner Bros. Records release, “What Was? What Is, What Will Be”, contains very few details about him. He recorded that album with top jazzmen like Norman Connors, Bob Berg, but he has never released any other material. It is well worth listening to, whether you are a fan of free jazz or spritual jazz. http://beta.last.fm
