King Übü Örchestrü

A small group of musicians has been recorded that focuses on textures and subtle interplay. They also tend to ignore traditional rhythmic and riff elements. This results in quiet, modern music. The membership is truly European. Although the instrumentation is varied, it is often difficult to identify who is doing what with whom due to group interaction and overall control. Moments of more familiar sounds are occasionally emitted by each player at different times. One example of this is Translation#3 (Binaurality), which briefly combines Lytton-style percussion with a bowed bottom line that recalls Jaws’ theme music.
