Lars Moller, born 1966 in Copenhagen – tenor sax. Students of David Liebman (85-89), and New School, N.Y. (87-89). Study of Indian Classical music in New Delhi (89–93). He has recorded and played with NHOP, Jimmy Cobb, Billy Hart, Geri Alley, Buster Williams, John Abercrombie, Buster Williams, Buster Williams, Geri Allen, Buster Williams and others as a bandleader. He has released 8 CDs, including the grammy-awarded “Kaileidoscope”, 2000. He has performed solo with Hermeto Pascoal and Jon Balke, Bobo STensson, Martial Solal. Martial Solal, Maria Schneider. Jim McNeely. Toots Thielmans. Kasper Willaume. Since 2002, member of the Danish Radio Big Band (leave of absent 2006 to 2009). As a composer/conductor, works extensively with The Orchestra (Big Band Copenhagen), Brazilan Scandinavian Jazz Orchestra(Sao Paolo/Copenhagen 2006-7), EBU Big Band/EYJO 2007 DR Big Band. The Danish Arts Council 2006 awarded the Prestigious 3 Year Grant.
