Liane Carroll was raised in London, and she is now a resident of Hastings UK with Roger Carey, her husband. Liane was encouraged to learn piano from a young age by Phyllis Catling, a concert pianist. She discovered a deep love for jazz, soul and all things in between. 1998-1990 She joined Trevor Watts’ band “Moire Music”, which featured Nana Tsiboe, Simon Picard and Liam Genockey. They performed all over the globe. 1990 founded The Liane Carroll Trio. Recordings and tours with Gerry Rafferty, Jerry Donahue and Long John Baldry, US guitarist legends. Recorded a charity song called “Little Children” for children in Brazil with Sir Paul McCartney as guitarist/songwriter, Steve Lamb (bass), and Greg Leppard on drums. 2001-2005 Joined the live Drum
