Marvin Parks’s arrival on the music scene today can be considered a fitting addition to the revival of the Afro-American Jazz Crooner panorama. He is deeply rooted in Black Music tradition. Marvin Parks has roots in Gospel, as well as in jazz singers from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’60s, but he is still an artist today. Marvin’s debut features his light baritone coloration within the sound of a group of well-known musicians, produced by Nicola Conte.
