Max De Aloe

Born March 18, 1968, in Busto Arsizio, he began studying classical piano in 1981. Later, he devoted himself to jazz piano and accordion, but he was most proud of his chromatic harmonica. He has used it in musical collaborations ranging from jazz to Brazilian music, tango, and even ventured into other borderline projects. He studied with Willi Burger, a harmonica soloist who is regarded as one of the best in the world. He also learned jazz from seminars with John Taylor, Kenny Wheeler and Paolo Fresu (Siena Jazz ’97). He has performed with international musicians like Kurt Rosenwinkel and Bill Carrothers, Eliot Zigmund as well as Mike Melillo, Don Friedman (Siena Jazz ’97), Garrison Fewell, Shirley Bunnie Foy and Dudu Manhenga, both live and in the studio.
