Médéric Collignon

Mederic Collignon, a French jazz singer, cornetist, and saxhorn player, was born 6 July 1970 in Villers-Semeuse (Ardenses). At five years old, he learned to play the trumpet. He was a student at the Conservatoire de Charleville-Mezieres from 1984 until 1989, when he received his diploma at Conservatoire de Nancy. The Academie du Jazz awarded him the Django Reinhardt Prize in 2009. He was influenced by many genres, including jazz-rock, hard rock and Olivier Messiaen’s music. Wikipedia
