Michael Jefry Stevens, pianist/composer, is an innovator in both contemporary mainstream jazz and creative improvised musicals. Born March 13, 1951 in New York City. He began piano lessons at the age of five, moved to Florida with his family at eight years old, and eventually took up rock music after years of practice.
