Mikkel Nordsø

In 1985, he founded Mikkel Nordso band. This was his first platform for composition. He contributes to the compositions on 3 albums with Acoustic Guitars and 2 albums with Bombay Hotel. He was again the main composer for the 2008 DUO album (harp), Blue Lotus album (2009), Five Steps 2 Seven (featuring Terrilyne Carrington), (2010), and Seven Continents (2014) Blue Lotus album. M.N. M.N. has recorded/performed alongside a variety of internationally acclaimed artists in DK. He has toured the USA, Canada, Brasil and Mexico with Marokko, South Africa and Mali, South Korea, India, and South Korea. (Lakshminarayana global festival 2005 with a.o. Dr. L. Subramaniam and Kavita Krishnamurti, Stanley Clarke, and George Duke) and Copenhagen Jazzfestival 2005 with Thomas Clausen oktet featuring Gary Burton US (US). In 2004, Raul Rekow (US), joins Mikkel Nordso Band while Santana is on tour. 2005 saw Mikkel Nordso Band perform at Bombay Jazzfestival and Dehli Jazzfestival. 2006 saw them at Hua Hin Jazzfestival Thailand. He was touring DK in 2007 with Lan Doky, which included Randi Brecker and Terri Lyne Carrington as well as Gino Vanelli, Gino vanelli, Gino Vanelli, Lisa Nilson, and David Sanborn. He played the Rio Harp Festival in 2009 and 2010. He played with Palle Mikkelborg, Niels Henning Oersted Petersen, Marilyn Mazur at the London jazzfesival (USA) in 2010. As studiomusician, he performed on approximately 200 albums, filmscores and balletmusic, as well as TV and radio appearances.
