Mindi Abair

Mindi Abair, an American saxophonist/vocalist was born May 23, 1969 in St. Petersburg. She is a Top-40 music fan. Mindi has performed and/or recorded with many artists, including the Backstreet Boys and Duran Duran. She also played with Mandy Moore and Josh Groban. Adam Sandler, Keb’ Mo’, Lalah Hathaway. Teena Marie, John Tesh. Jonathan Butler, Peter White, Rick Braun, and Bobby Lyle. In 2012, she toured with Aerosmith. In 2003, Abair switched from jazz to pop. Verve Records signed Abair and she released It Just Happens That way, which reached No. 7, on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart, and was in the Top 10 for 19 consecutive week.
