miRthkon is an amplified chamber group that pretends to be a rock band. They do occasionally rock, but this illusion is maintained well. Their unique sound is enhanced with the addition of two skilled woodwind players. They play a variety of instruments, including piccolo, flute and clarinet. Their music is influenced by avant-garde rock, contemporary classical abstraction, catchy hook-laden songs, thrash metal, and contemporary classical abstraction.
