The album is a showcase of the diverse influences that come together naturally. It also highlights the undisputed talent and creativity of Rautio and Porthen as producers. Nassaun Fasaani’s lineup includes some of the most prominent names in Finnish jazz. Toni Porthen is a well-known face in many groups, including jazz, funk and rock. He regularly performs in ensembles such as the Lenni-Kalle Taipale Group or MP4. Redrama, a Finnish pop band, is known for his virtuoso drumming and Anna Abreu, a pop singer. Joonatan Rautio, a saxophonist, was awarded the prestigious Yrjo Award by the Finnish Jazz Federation in 2010. Rautio is a highly-respected craftsman in Finnish jazz. Jussi Fredriksson, the pianist, electrifies Nassaun Fasaani’s soundscape.
