Nett Duo is a new acoustic guitar and bass duo that was formed by Charnett Moffett, a legendary jazz bass player, and Jana Herzen, Motema Music founder and president. This project was born out of their collaboration on a number of projects including Herzen’s work with Charnett Moffett’s touring group and their work on Herzen’s vocal/guitar/bass duo project on Motema titled Passion of a Lonely Heart. The duo’s debut EP, OVERTONES, will be available digitally on December 28, 2018. This all-original, free-form program will take the listener on an improvisational journey that combines jazz, folk, classical and other musical styles.
