The New Orleans Suspects started playing together as a pick up band at the Maple Leaf in New Orleans in 2009. The group was made up of some of the most respected and experienced players in NOLA. They were called The Unusual Suspects. They quickly discovered their chemistry and decided to go on tour full-time in the summer 2011. The band was renamed New Orleans Suspects. They attracted large audiences from San Francisco to New York quickly.
