Darryl Kniffen is an exceptionally creative, passionate, and innovative drummer/educator/composer. Kniffen’s creativity can be seen in every aspect of his life. He creates original instruments out of recycled materials with students and composes innovative pieces that push the boundaries between jazz and rock. Kniffen is a live performer and has been accompanied by many artists, including Natalia Bernal (Chilean singer), Freddy Shehadi (Emmy award-winning guitarist/composer), Richard Boulger (jazz trumpeter) and Alex Foster (Saturday Night Live saxophonist). Darryl continues to push boundaries with his original compositions and creative drumming. Darryl leads the audience on wild adventures, whether he performs solo or with guest musicians.
