Nick Colionne, guitarist/vocalist, was like many other aspiring musicians. He began playing the guitar when he was nine years old, at the request of his stepfather. Colionne was a professional touring artist at the age of 15. He often wore a fake mustache while on the road, sometimes with older musicians. Juanita Colionne, his mother was not content to allow her son to go without an education. Nick graduated high school and went to college. Now, he teaches and mentors elementary-school students in Elgin. Since 1994, he has released four albums. His latest album is Just Come On In, a smooth jazz and funk collection. Allmusic
