Nicola Rizzo studied flute at the C. Pollini Conservatory of Padua, Italy. He also graduated with a Master Degree in Jazz at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Como, Italy. He won first prizes in international and national competitions as a soloist or in a duo. He spent five years living in Paris, where he established the jazz quartet “NicolaRizzo 4et” as well as two albums “Salam” (with the pianist Lucas Belkhiri) in duo. He was a teacher of jazz transverse flute, music production, and director of the Conservatories Le Plessis Trevise and Queue en Brie orchestras. He is the author of “Jazz Flute Daily Workout”, a book that has been sold around the globe. He also teaches jazz flute masterclasses at Lecce and Chamonix (France).
