Wikipedia states that Boontling is a jargon used only in Boonville in Northern California. Nonch Harpin’ is, in turn, a Boontling term that loosely translates to dirty talk. Nonch Harpin’ members may be as well-versed and cultured as they are, but their collective, messy id is what makes them reach their musical goals. It is not possible to pretend that the chatter they have during rehearsals and recording sessions can be heard by decent people. It’s not. It is Nonch Harpin’. It is Nonch Harpin’.
