Nucleon is a mix of modern rock and traditional fusion. They are an interesting group that we should pay attention to. Andrzej and Jakub Rutowski, the founding members of Nucleon, quietly but surely built a large following in their native Poland. The group’s self-titled debut, “Nucleon”, was a great success. It had all the elements of a young band searching for its influences and creating its own identity. Last year, the group suffered a significant loss with the sudden passing of Sawik, a classically trained leader. The group was unable to finish its next album. Nucleon persevered and produced Fitoplankton. This album is full of energy and vibrancy.
