Bruno Vansina was inspired to create a children’s theater play (MaiTe het meisje and de vogel) by Les Baxter and Martin Denny. Pierre Vervloesem, his colleague, arranged his compositions. They are true to the originals but have a modern feel and quickly began to live their own lives. The result was the Orchestra Exotica, a 7-piece band that plays Denny’s playful, multicolored music with a healthy dose humor, cunning craft, and infectious drive. Visit www.brunovansina.be
