P.j. Perry

Paul John (P.J. Perry Guloien, a jazz saxophonist hailing from Edmonton, Alberta was born 2 December 1941. He was awarded one Juno for solo performance and one for his work as The Rob McConnell Tentet. Perry was the son of prominent western Canadian bandleader Paul Perry and Margaret Yeo. They moved all over Canada from Medicine Hat to Sylvan lake, Sylvan lake, and Vancouver early in their lives. Before becoming a saxophonist in his father’s band, he learned to play the clarinet as well as the piano. Perry is well-known for his jazz-influenced style and is currently active in Canada as a studio musician. From Wikipedia
