Papanosh

This Eastern European name is the foundation of a jazz quintet that embodies libertarian music. Papanosh, a house with large windows and open doors, is located at the intersection of Occitan reminiscences about Bernard Lubat and the Lounge Lizards’ New York Underground. The music on stage is not yet written. It keeps inventing …:. It’s an acoustic directory with its raw sound, freedom, and demonstration of primitive energy, where urban horns merge or intertwine. Papanosh’s second album “Your Beautiful Mother”, is the perfect image for the show. It’s incredibly alive and joyous! It was selected by Citizen Jazz, and given four stars by Jazz Magazine. Papanosh was awarded the Group and Composition Prizes at the National Jazz Competition in Paris la Defense 2010 (2nd), and is the laureate for “Jazz Migration 2013”. Papanosh is close to Mingus and ARFI and Uzeste. They have been awarded the Group and Composition Prizes of the National Jazz Competition of Paris la Defense in 2010 (2nd), and are the laureate for “Jazz Migration” for 2013.
